The Final Exam will be on Tuesday, 14 December 2021, 6-8pm. It will not be given at any other time and failure to take the exam will result in a 0 for that exam, so please make end-of-semester plans accordingly.
Quizzes in CH101 are given on Monday evenings at 6:30pm, and they will last around 60 minutes. There will be a total of six quizzes, and the five (5) best quizzes will count towards your course grade.
Your are required to abide by the following quiz and exam regulations:

All students in CH101 are expected to maintain the highest degree of academic integrity, and you are responsibile for being aware of the contents of the Boston University Academic Conduct Code. 4 | Nov 1 | Quiz #4 is based on all of the course material (lecture, textbook, discussion, and lab) from Chapters 8, 9, and 10 in McQuarrie et al. (For chapter 10, this includes only the material reflected in the lectures, discussion, and the assigned homework problems. You will be responsible for knowing the solubility rules and common polyatomic ions.) The material from chapter 11 will be included in Quiz #5. The quiz is held in the following locations starting at 6:30 pm.

5 | Nov 15 | Quiz #5 is based on all of the course material (lecture, textbook, discussion, and lab) from chapter 11, chapter 12, and the first 8 sections of chapter 13 (13.1-13.8) in McQuarrie et al. Please note: while the material on the quiz will focus on the new material (not included in past quizzes), many of the concepts are based on the preceding material. The remainder of the material from chapter 13 will be included in Quiz #6. Please note: since the material has become much more quantitative in nature, you will be given a little more time to complete the quizzes (but the number of problems will remain about the same). Please plan for Quiz 5 to last 75 minutes. The quiz is held in the following locations starting at 6:30 pm.

6 | Dec 6 | Quiz #6 is based on all of the course material (lecture, textbook, discussion, and lab) from the remainder of chapter 13 (except section 13-12) and most of chapter 14 (exluding sections 14-5, 14-6, 14-9, and 14-10) in McQuarrie et al. Please note: while the material on the quiz will focus on the new material (not included in past quizzes), many of the concepts are based on the preceding material. The remainder of the material from chapter 14 will be included on the final exam. The quiz is held in the following locations starting at 6:30 pm.
